Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Harmony Park Society will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 4:30 pm at Dr. Arthur Hines Elementary School in Summerville.

All members of the public are invited to attend. Harmony Park is located on 4 acres surrounding the school and consists of landscaped recreational facilities including playground equipment, outdoor chess and checkers board, amphitheatre, soccer field, walking trail and school vegetable garden. The grounds are open for use by the school and all community members.

Harmony Park's 2nd Annual Black and White Ball on October 23/10

The Ball is being held on October 23rd at the new Brooklyn Fire Hall Civic Centre in Brooklyn, NS from 7pm-midnight. Tickets are $35.00 each/ $60.00 pair or $40.00 at the door. Featuring an art auction, silent auction, scrumptous snacks and fabulous music by Latin Groove. Tickets can be purchased (cash) at Moe's Place Music in Windsor or from Harmony Park board member Denise Stockdale.

The evening opens with an Art Auction (7pm-7:45pm viewing; 8:00pm-8:45pm live auction with auctioneer Laurie Parker) or a Silent Auction that runs through the evening of dancing (bidding closes at 11:15pm). Many of the art and silent auction items have been graciously donated by artists and folks from along the Hants Shore.

Bike Park Improvements

Dusten Faulkner and Justin Crossley have volunteered to lead improvements to our bike park. If you'd like to help just let them know or send us an email here. They'll be working on it on weekends and after school. Great job Dusten and Justin!
